Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padua, he completed his training in the United States, both at Boston University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In his professional career he has worked in industrial design, engineering, production, marketing, and sales management in leading companies in Friuli and Veneto. He has also lectured at several universities. Since 2003 he has been involved in the design and construction of plants for the production of energy from renewable sources. He is currently President and Director of Greenetica Ltd, a company founded with the goal of producing a new system of concentrating solar power.
